DiscoverMyDog is an iPhone app of short games you play with your dog. You guess what your dog will do, try it together, then record what really happened. Each answer adds to a map of your dog's personality across six sides: senses, play, social life, exploration, problem solving and comfort.
Which phones does it work on?
DiscoverMyDog is an iPhone app, for iOS 16.4 or later. An Android version is planned for later.
Is DiscoverMyDog free?
Yes, it's free to start: 10 discoveries for one dog, your dog's story, a weekly look back, the Home Screen widget and reminders. DiscoverMyDog+ unlocks all 800+ discoveries, Ask AI, the full six-sided map, family sharing and more than one dog. The app shows the price before you buy.
How long does a discovery take?
One to three minutes. Most use things you already have at home, like a treat, a toy or a towel.
Is it a dog training app?
No. There are no commands to teach and no scores to chase. DiscoverMyDog is about understanding who your dog is: what they love, how they think and what helps them feel at ease.
How is it different from a dog personality quiz?
A quiz asks what you think. DiscoverMyDog asks your dog: you guess first, then see what they actually do, so the map is built from real moments, not opinions.
Does it work for puppies and older dogs?
Yes. Discoveries are picked to suit your dog's age and energy, starting with easier ones, whether you have a new puppy, a rescue or an older companion.
Is DiscoverMyDog veterinary advice?
No. It's about getting to know your dog, never a diagnosis. For health or behavior concerns, talk to your vet. AI answers can be wrong and are not veterinary advice.
Do I need an account, and what happens to my data?
You can use DiscoverMyDog without an account. Create one to back up your dog and use the app on more than one phone. There are no ads and no tracking across apps, and you can delete your account and everything in it at any time. The Privacy Policy has the details.
